

The Bookery, bookshop, & clock shop located in St John's oldest surviving structure from 1804. The two and a half storied hipped-roof building is an excellent example of later eighteenth/early nineteenth century homes. The structure was built for James Anderson who was a sergeant in the militia at the time.
We've a selection of sweet treats, organic fair trade coffee, loose leaf tea's, & drinking chocolate. Coffee's are made to order using Bodum presses & served in Bodum glasses, all available for purchase in our store. The bookshop is boasts over 30 000 hand picked titles. From art & architecture to poetry, economics, politics & Newfoundland fiction & non-fiction. We have a book for everyone!
Our shop owners also have the largest collection of antique clocks in the province, a selection of which may be viewed at the shop or on-line. Our site is currently under construction.
