Landscape by Robert Allan Barr, 1940 This is a beautiful original oil by Robert Allan Barr(1890-1959), OSA, ARCA, OIP. Born in London England, Allan moved to Canada in 1922. His paintings hang in the National Gallery, the AGO in Canada, the Royal Academy & the Victoria & Albert Museum in England as well as many private collections around the world. This particular landscape reads on the reverse, "...dale, Ont looking SW early August, 1940...". In excellent condition measuring: 12 3/4 x 9 1/2 inches.
