LUX U.S.A. is under the twelve on the face of this clock. Walnut colored face with gold highlights with white bobbing bird. Bird bobs in and out of window as pendulum swings. Width: 5 5/8" Height: 8 1/4"overall. LUX 30 hour guaranteed key wind pendulette movement. This model winds from the front and takes a #1 key. Beats 200 times per minute. Clocks that were produced by the Lux Clock Mfg. Company have become very collectable, although they were produced in mass quantities and were very inexpensive. They have become popular with novelty clock collectors. Some of the clocks, which originally sold for $2.00 to $3.00, now sell for $2,000-$3,000 in mint condition.
